C:\>DIR
An initiative led by Financial Innovation for Impact and Networks for Humanity, the Cambridge Digital Innovation and Regulation Initiative (C:\>DIR) is a global policy convening platform that fosters high-level dialogue on issues at the intersection of digital innovation and regulation between policymakers, regulators and market innovators.
C:\>DIR aims to cultivate collaborative communities and public-private partnerships to develop common solutions and shape the future of digital markets and economies, for the benefit of the many.
Our mission is to address the widening ‘innovation delta’ between market, policy and regulation, particularly in Emerging Market and Developing Economies.
Effective governance of the digital economy will hinge on robust collaboration between financial, data, competition and other regulators, and on deepening institutional cooperation across jurisdictions.
Our vision for coherent, effective digital governance is founded on cross-regulatory and cross-border cooperation, at global and regional levels; partnership between public and market innovators; and strong academic foundations.
C:\>DIR is led by Financial Innovation for Impact (Fii) and Networks for Humanity, in collaboration with the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP), the Centre for Resilience and Sustainable Development (CRSD), and King's Entrepreneurship Lab.
