Supporting evidence-based reform

Fii conducts policy analysis and strategic advisory for public authorities.

We develop policy reports and briefs, comparative studies of policy and regulation, and strategic analyses that support evidence-based policymaking, regulatory and institutional reform relevant to digital financial markets and the broader digital economy.

Working alongside governments, regulators, central banks and other public authorities, we assess emerging technologies and their applications in finance, supporting the design of national policy strategies and programmes and regulatory frameworks that are responsive to local political economy and institutional contexts.

This includes:

• Policy and regulatory briefings that draw on insights from comparative analysis of policy and regulatory approaches across jurisdictions;

• Hands-on advisory support to design and review comprehensive policy strategies, regulatory frameworks and consultation papers;

• Discussion papers and analytical inputs for regulator convenings, to support dialogue and the exchange of views on emerging policy issues, best practices and institutional, including cross-border, cooperation.
