Katrin Arnold
Katrin brings over 20 years’ experience in central banking, international cooperation, economic analysis, financial stability, payment systems, and financial innovation.
Throughout her career, Katrin has held a variety of leadership, analytical, and policy roles at the ECB, Deutsche Bundesbank, and the European Commission. She has led international cooperation, capacity-building, analytical, operational, and innovation-focused programmes and projects with central banks and supervisory authorities across Europe and around the world.
Katrin is passionate about translating research and economic analysis into practical solutions and tangible outcomes for policymakers and regulators. Her work is driven by a commitment to supporting more resilient, effective, and inclusive financial systems.
She holds a PhD in Economics from SOAS, University of London, and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
