Lana Baker-Cowling
Lana leads Fii’s efforts to build a pipeline of bankable climate businesses and strengthen conditions for climate investment across developing economies.
As part of the Commonwealth Investment Network (CIN), she partners with local institutions and businesses across the Caribbean and Pacific to build local capacity, improve investment readiness, and facilitate knowledge exchange.
Lana has advised private equity firms and portfolio companies on sustainability strategy, climate risk and ESG integration across the investment lifecycle, from due diligence through to regulatory reporting. She has also worked with international climate finance institutions, including the African Development Bank and the Green Climate Fund, supporting climate mitigation and adaptation across Africa and the Middle East.
Lana holds a First Class Honours degree in Geography from University College London and is a dual British-Swiss national.
