Our team

Sara is Fii’s Director of People, building the organisational infrastructure needed to foster our mission-driven, innovation-first culture. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Up to spring 2026, Sara worked for the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance for over six years, initially coordinating the Catalyst Fund Inclusive FinTech Internship Programme, before representing the CCAF as HR Lead, managing change and leading the research centre’s talent acquisition and development at all levels.

Prior to joining the CCAF, Sara ran her own HR consultancy business working with SMEs for five years and also taught on an MBA programme for the Open University Business School.

Sara studied History at the University of York, and this continues to be a great interest. She previously lived in the US and was a walking tour guide in Boston.
